FBI Keeping Lengthy Files on Groups Opposed to Bush's Policies
Why aren't these agents catching terrorists?

Why are they wasting tax-payer dollars spying on peaceful groups like the ACLU?

Why are they wasting our money spying on Greenpeace?

I'm going to go give all of these groups some money now.

FBI Keeping Lengthy Files on Groups Opposed to Bush's Policies

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has amassed at least 3,500 pages of internal documents from political protest groups in what the targets say amounts to political surveillance of some of President George W. Bush's leading critics.

The FBI has obtained 1,173 pages of internal documents on the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) since 2001, the rights watchdog and prominent administration critic said Monday. Federal agents also have collected some 2,383 pages from environmental group Greenpeace, a leading voice of anti-Bush protest, the ACLU added.

The figures have emerged as part of a lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) brought by the ACLU and other groups alleging that the FBI is engaging in politically motivated spying against law-biding organizations.

''We now know that the government is keeping documents about the ACLU and other peaceful groups,'' said Anthony Romero, the ACLU's executive director. ''The question is why.''

5. They Want To Be Able to Move Quickly When Opposition Groups are Banned
There are only two reasons the government would do this.

1. The want to insert provocateurs into the peaceful groups, so they
can declare them "terrorist" and then arrest all the supporters. That
would be a bit difficult with something like the ACLU, but they could
easily do it with some other groups.

2. Using the results of #1 as "evidence", they will push for a ban on
all "dissident" groups, and then round up the members.

6. Since When Does Freedom Of Speech And Expression Require....
an FBI investigation????? If anything, the FBI should be investigating the lies and deceptions from the White House. I guess it is much easier keeping files and investigating citizens of this country with opposing views to the political criminals that are presently destroying this country!!!!

9. 'The Universal Adversary'
Google it, get used to that term, along the lines of 'Enemy Combatant' ....

The Universal Adversary, is identified in the scenarios as an abstract entity used for the purposes of simulation. Yet upon more careful examination, this Universal Adversary is by no means illusory. It includes the following categories of potential "conspirators":

"foreign (Islamic) terrorists" ,

"domestic radical groups", (antiwar and civil rights groups)

"state sponsored adversaries" ("rogue states", "unstable nations")

"disgruntled employees" (labor and union activists). -snip-

more here .... http://globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO506A.html Peace.
