Cindy Sheehan (HuffPost): We Have the Power
My day started way too early today. After 3 hours of sleep, I was being shaken awake by someone at 6:30 a.m. telling me that the Today show wanted me to be on. I had come into town to sleep in a trailer because my tent had been infested with fire ants.

We had a very interesting day. We had Bush drive by really, really fast twice. I caught a glimpse of Laura. I was hoping after she saw me that she would come down to Camp Casey with some brownies and lemonade. I waited for her, but she never came.

The Bushes were going to a barbeque/fundraiser down the road from us. I was very surprised that they let us stay so close to Bush. The families of the fallen loved ones held their son's crosses from Arlington West while Bush drove by. I bet it didn't even give him indigestion to see so many people protesting his murderous policies.

I am a continued thorn in the side of right-wing bloggers and right wing-nut "journalists." One man, Phil Hendry, called me an "ignorant cow." But you know what, the people who have come out from all over the country to give me a hug and support the cause of peace, overwhelms me so much, I don't have time to worry about the negativity and the hatred. The people who are slamming me have no idea about what it feels like to unjustly have a child killed in an insane war. Plus, they have no truth to fight truth with, so they fight truth with more lies and hate.

3. Nothing will change until Bush/Cheney and the rest are dragged
kicking and screaming from their throne of power and locked up for life as war criminals.

These people will fight until the bitter end and they couldn't care less who gets maimed or killed along the way. Just so long as they can hold onto power.

Unfortunately, this is no longer the country I believed I lived in.

2. Cindy is a prime example that one person can make a difference
she has reinvigorated a struggling anti-war effort, and shown the opposition how to stand up to a bully.

We're all with you Cindy!

Together we can restore faith in our great republic.

4. Cindy IS the People
and BushCo cannot fathom that the People are speaking, and expect an authentic response. It's going to be an interesting year.

Have we reached the tipping point? Not quite, but we've got some serious momentum going FINALLY! The spin cycle has come to a quiet stop, the thugs have lost the ear of the media, and the uglies screaming "We don't care" are turning the stomachs and changing the minds of people across the country. Bush resorts to recess appointments to get his way, since he can't bully or bribe enough support.

The next step: in an act of overreaching desperation, Bush attacks Iran without even going through the motions of getting public or world support. Country burst into flames, and impeachment of just about every Bushbot ensues. Schwartzennegger disappears in his own little earthquake, unnoticed and unmourned. The Fitzgerald indictments provide the means, the real spirit of America provides the power.
