Seattle P-I: "Gulf Coast Recovery: Porch Politics" (calls out b*sh family)
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/opinion/239560_katrinabushed.asp

This excellent editorial calls out laura, the moron, and his disgusting mother and their completely stupefying remarks about those struggling to survive this horror.

snip...
"In a serious let-them-eat-cake moment, first lady Laura Bush said that mothers must get their kids to school, as doing so gives children "a sense of normalcy."

snip...
"Then her husband made the unthinkably moronic remarks about his partying days in New Orleans and how he looks forward once again, to chillin' at Mississippi Sen. Trent Lott's house. "Out of the rubbles of Trent Lott's house -- he's lost his entire house -- there's going to be a fantastic house. And I'm looking forward to sitting on the porch."

snip...
"His mother, former first lady Barbara Bush, seemed equally clueless, as she toured the Houston Astrodome where thousands of Katrina victims are being temporarily housed. "This is working very well for them," she said.

Which part, Barb? The part where they lost everything they've owned? She then added, "Almost everyone I've talked to says we're going to move to Houston." Well, of course they do. They've been living in their own filth, starving, fearing rape, or worse, for five days at the Superdome in New Orleans. But why let that image mar a perfectly good sound bite, eh?"

These people really believe they and their elitist ilk are the only people in the world who matter. No one else is even remotely human to them. Sickening.

4. Kurovski, I thought the same thing!
Rubbles? Like in Barney and Betty?

At least the moron gives us something to laugh at as we weep at his destruction and ignorance.

3. Kick!! This is a great editorial.
I read it this morning in the P-I but was on my boat so couldn't post it. I tell you, the P-I editorial board minced no words in this one.

The whole Bush family is disgustingly without regard or respect for those without silver spoons in their mouths.

They are a disgrace to our nation.

7. bushes BELIEVE they are the Monarch Royal line of America
Webster Tarpley and many other (even more mainstream sources) have bio'd the "Corelone's of Kennebunkport" - they fully believen they are meant to rule America like Monarchs (and they behave like Monarchs in public).

8. big difference -
the children of the queen of england actually served in the military. Cant imagine the twins ever camping out in south america to experience helping those less fortunate as Prince William did a couple of years ago.
