Dear Diary,

What a very interesting day! Poppy wanted to see those New Orleans people living at the Astrodome. I decided to go along to keep an eye on him, because he was going with his new best friend, Goodtime Charlie -- Bill Clinton.

Besides, I do like to keep a hand in public affairs, though I prefer to work behind the scenes. It worked out very well last month, when I phoned Lance Armstrong's mother to arrange a play date for him to ride bikes with Georgie. What a good time they had.
