Who's at fault for lost lives in Iraq? Bush, Rumsfeld, et al.
10/4/2005

In an August column, Fred Grimm lists the insufficiencies surrounding the Iraq war, but he errs in blaming them on the people <"Here lie 14 Marines, murdered by the enemy and your indifference," Aug. 13>.

Many of us have strong convictions regarding our troops serving, wounded and killed in Iraq. Many believe sparing lives on both sides rests in a united Arab world that condemns terrorists and sincerely works for peace.

If there is blame for those who died or were wounded, for the resources wasted and billions spent in Iraq, it rests with George Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, John Ashcroft, and the inner circle that orchestrated and sustains this war.

1. Nearly the entire congress voted
to give Bush the money with which he otherwise could not wage these massacres. To this day they continue to give him all the money he asks for. Most of the opposition party wants to give him more so as to lessen the danger to those carrying out the massacres. Kerry pledged to out-republican the republicans and send more 10s of thousands to carry out the massacres.

So, in this democratic-republic, blood is on the hands of each voter who voted for the republicans or the "me-too" opposition. That's whose fault it is. Its as simple as that.
