The right wing attacks one of its own?
http://dailymail.com/news/Dave+Peyton-20051007/

I realized that Harriet Miers had a lot going for her when Rush Limbaugh, the right-wing "wonk extraordinaire," expressed disappointment about the fact the President Bush had nominated her for associate justice of the Supreme Court.
Or maybe Limbaugh isn't disappointed. Maybe he's angry. If you read the transcript of his comments from his radio talk show, his reasons are unclear. But sleight of hand (or sleight of tongue) is an integral part of his repertoire.

All I know is that I am generally in favor of anything Limbaugh opposes. And it's a sure bet he is not happy with Bush's nominee. The reason for his disapproval is a rare look into the mind of the ultra-right wing.

1. IMO Miers is not one of the right wing, she is a puppet for Corporatists.
The largest, easily controlled voting group is the Right Wing with their fanatical pro-life, anti-gay, and a few other pro/anti positions.

The Corporatists can cheaply fund PR campaigns to keep the Right Wing in fear of this or that while more laws are passed that increase corporate power and the power of their owners.

Miers may be the last justice Bush can appoint.

Miers supports the Corporatist agenda and Corporatists can not afford to waste a SCOTUS appointment on some unknown.

Bush is a petty, vindictive person who does not like criticism. It's ironic that he's being forced to take criticism to further the interests of a behind the scenes group.
