BAYTOWN, Texas - Fake flu shots were given out last week at a health fair at Exxon Mobil Corp.'s Baytown complex and an investigation was under way, authorities said.

Exxon Mobil spokeswoman Treacy A. Roberts said Thursday that the
FBI told the company that what was administered "definitely not the flu vaccine."

It doesn't appear that the fake shots were harmful, but steps were being taken to ensure workers' safety, U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg said in a statement Thursday.

Exxon Mobil offered blood tests and counseling to the up to 1,000 employees who took part in the health fair at the oil company's vast complex of refineries and chemical plants just east of Houston.

7. Bullshit fake flue shots are not harmful. How many people will not get

the real flu shot because of this? Besides, it undermines the medical profession. These people will not trust their doctors when they say they are giving them a flu shot. If any doctors were knowingly involved in this they should lose their medical license.

8. Holy smokes! Read this! The nurse also became concerned when a Hawa

employee said he had pricked his finger a few times while filling the syringes, and not to let the doctor at the health fair examine the syringes, according to the FBI.

If the employee pricked his finger and those syringes were used on patients that is a big time risk for them. What a fuck up.
