"It's hard to believe that someone with Alito's steel-trap recollection of cases spanning the decades has zero recollection of his membership in a group that advocated discrimination against women and minorities. It's just doesn't pass the laugh test.

For the last three days, Alito has refused to give straight answers on his record. But he can't hide from his record; the facts speak for themselves."

1. Either he lied to the committee about not remembering CAP, or

he lied to the Reagan administration about it so he could convince them he was the red-meat conservative they were looking for.

Either way he is a liar who is unfit for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, and whose pants are on fire to boot.

But who will oppose him? Not the DLC-types who are saying a filibuster is "unlikely".
