What was Pat Robertson Thinking? |
|
"With a $50 million partnership hanging in the balance, Robertson tries to make amends for his insensitive comments towards Israel"- A Time Magazine exclusive. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1149156,00.htmlAll I can say is, how can people continue to take this guy seriously? Whoever gives him money deserves to go broke.

2. The frightening part for me is that Pat Robertson might |

actually believe the crap that comes out of his mouth.
Absent that possibiliy, I'm still frightened because he's saying these things to trigger psychotic donors to write huge checks for all those hyper-Jesus causes.
Either way it's not a pretty picture.

I was living in SC when Jim Baker was arrested, tried, and convicted! You wouldn't believe how many people wtill supported him and Tammy Fay. I kept asking all the people I worked with, WHY?
I never got a logical answer!

5. Yeah, I know of an elderly woman |

who was bilked for nearly $10,000 and she believed in them to the day she died. Everyone was out to get them. Not fair.
Go figure!

13. No, you're all wrong... |

Pat Robertson is hurting financially. Yes, it's true. His Christian Coalition has been losing money. It seems that the donations have dried up.
Now, I know you're probably asking "wait a minute, he's a preacher. How much does a preacher need, anyway?" Well, he has a very big operation. He has lots of irons in the fire, and you need capital to grease the wheels.
It's truly AMAZING how much money he needs, considering that his crony Michael 'Heck of a job' Brownie put a link of the FEMA web site so people could donate to hurricane Katrina. Instead, they ended up donating to Operation Blessing.
You say there's no connection? You're right! There is no connection. But it's all for a Good Cause....
Of course, there was so much protesting over it that FEMA finally deleted the link.
So Ole Pat is delusional because of the stress. Well, you know what they say; money doesn't grow on trees. Right Pat?

Jesus then said to his disciples... "It is much harder for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle." (Matthew 19:23). Oh, but wait, aren't we also talking about St. Shrub and his so-called "base"? Hmmmm...
But wait, there's more:
Jesus said to (the rich man), "if you want to be perfect, go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come and follow me." (Matthew 19:21) Like Rob-ertson and Shrub would do that. Yea right.
A little Biblical ammo now and then can't hurt.
Luke 16:19 is a good one too!
