CBC News

"A U.S. right-wing strategist says Canadians are "so liberal and hedonistic" that Stephen Harper can't hope to change their philosophy of "cultural Marxism" right away.

Given time, however, the Conservative prime minister-designate may straighten them out, Paul Weyrich writes.

..... Skip

"Harper's partisans believe he could maintain power for four years,( laughter OP's) during which time Conservatives hopefully would witness many vacancies created by Liberals leaving the courts. The Supreme Court of Canada currently is dominated by Liberals.

.... Snip"

2. Toronto is a cesspit
of toleration, liberalism, and harmony. Any city so clean has to be hiding something! Americans should remove "In God We Trust" from our money and replace it with "Blame Canada". I'm surprised someone has suggested building a fence between the two nations! Can't have any evil Canadian hedonism creeping south!

folks, hedonistic kiteflying in the park -- damn them! And don't get me started on the rest of Vancouver Island. The fishermen drink beer! The hikers on the West Coast Trail pack their trash out, and don't bother the bears!

It's a total cesspool, no doubt about that. JEEEEEEZ.

7. and I've been wallowing in that moral sludgepit all day!

Take it from me -- a den of commies -- they're only pretending to be doing capitalistic activities like shopping and eating in restaurants. It's a cunning facade!

11. You think Toronto is a cesspit? You should see Halifax!
People sneakily strolling in the park, Marxist drivers stopping their cars to give pedestrians the right of way, total strangers passing each other coded messages like "Nice day, eh?" I'm telling you, it's Joe Stalin's dream.

I overheard a police constable at the big anti-Bush rally observe to a passerby, "There should be more people here--we need to get the message across." Hell, man--the POLICE are communists in this town!

12. and don't forget the lawyers organizing that mock trial of Bush ...
For crying out loud, who let commies into a law school in the first place? They should be out making money like proper capitalists!

http://www.nadir.org/nadir/initiativ/agp/free/halifax2004/1130guilty.htm

"The trial of George W. Bush begins, and a dead-ringer for Bush is read the charges against him: responsibility for the death of Iraqis and for irreparable damage done to the environment because of the war. The white-wigged Judge admonishes the crowd against spitting and other forms of displeasure; they laugh easily and boo at all the right times. It's all in fun and good spirit. Lawyers argue: Bush's defender is played by a local human rights lawyer, Philip Girard. Witnesses speak and then the Judge asks for a verdict. The entire crowd forms the jury.

"How do you find the defendant?" asks the Judge.

"It's a no brainer -guilty!" yells a wag in the audience. To cheers, Bush is found guilty, directed to be deported from Canada, and then he's whisked off by the crowd towards the American Consulate. The march has begun."

And WHY would anybody want them to change? Other than slavers, and mentally ill psychopaths?

8. someone should register an official "Marxist-Hedonist Party of Canada"
I'll bet we could attract some of the old Rhino voting base, and absorb most of the Marijuana Party too!

like Margaret Thatcher, wants to change the soul of a country.

Thatcher succeeded.
