Bush Is Running Out of Alibis (Pat Buchanan)
Conservative Pat Buchanan nails Bush

Bush Is Running Out of Alibis

by Patrick J. Buchanan
Posted Feb 03, 2006

"The road of isolationism and protectionism may seem broad and inviting, yet it ends in danger and decline," railed President Bush in his State of the Union. Again and again, Bush returned to his theme.

"America rejects the false comfort of isolationism. ...

"Isolationism would not only tie our hands in fighting enemies, it would keep us from helping our friends in desperate need. ...

"American leaders from Roosevelt to Truman to Kennedy to Reagan rejected isolation and retreat."

2. Once again, Pat's the voice of reason.
It really highlights how radical the * regime and the rest of the American Taliban is when Pat turns out to be the voice of reason.

3. schizo pat
one minute pandering to the admin and thier positions and attacking democrats, the next minute standing against the pres - me thinks he took the pres. words personally (per isolationism) and thus responds in kind... but I predict that in the next two weeks he will be seen shilling for bushco once again.

4. He is PAID to argue the GOP point of view
When you see him on TV, unless he is commenting and giving his own point of view, he is generally taking the GOP side, simply because he is a famous conservative who used to work for Nixon. Even though he isn't a Republican anymore....his last affiliation was with the Reform Party.
