"Wiretap Wimps"
http://www.nypost.com/postopinion/opedcolumnists/63057.htm

February 7, 2006 -- YESTERDAY, liberal senators denounced the Bush administration for the way it has used electronic intelligence here at home in pursuit of al Qaeda — sort of.
The administration, they said, had behaved in an unconscionable fashion by using warrantless wiretapping — kind of.

For you see, these liberal legislators on the Senate Judiciary Committee also claimed they would have been thrilled, delighted and just absolutely tickled pink to "work with" the administration to give it the explicit right to act just as it has been acting. <snip>

3. Hate to admit it, but I agree with the Post.
If our "leaders" want our respect and our votes, they had better be very very clear whose side they are on. Will they be co-opted by the Pukes again, and write a retoractive law to legalize the unwarranted domestic spying? Or will they stand up and "protect and defend the Consitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic?"

6. Why? They Obviously Know Nothing--And When They Do, They Don't Tell
the public anyway (except to boost book sales, maybe).
