Republican Chief Outlines 2006 Strategy
"WASHINGTON -- Republican national chairman Ken Mehlman on Friday outlined a political strategy for 2006 to portray Democrats as too weak to protect the country and to bypass the mainstream media to spread the GOP message.

Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Mehlman roused the crowd at a Washington hotel to cheers as he told them President Bush had finally responded to decades of terrorist attacks.

"For a generation, terrorists learned they could make war on free nations without fear of war in return," Mehlman said, adding that Bush understood how to respond. "On Sept. 12, the terrorists got war in return."

Bush's stance on fighting terror is very popular with participants in this annual meeting of hard-line conservatives from around the country and so are his federal court appointments."

ask Osama if he is afraid, He is still out there after all.

4. WHO was in office on 911 again?
Edited on Fri Feb-10-06 09:05 PM by mzmolly
WHO said OBL dead or alive just 4 months before declaring he was not a concern?

WHO started a war with a country that was not a threat, diverting our resources from fighting a REAL war on terror?

WHO inflamed the conservative Muslim world so much that OBL is recruiting in record numbers?

WHO let Iran get close to a nuKLAR weapon?

...

Lastly, WHO let's Republicans get away with claiming they are "tough on terror?"

5. The whole article is actually really maddening
but Kennitta's strategy seems to be to get a lot of soundbites again, like 2004, and take it from there. Nothing like taking things out of context, eh. And I just know it will get some mileage. Just like "I voted for it before I voted against it..."

Please, please, tell me the DNC has a strategy in place already!!! Why not a contract with America kind of thing?

AAAGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. That's the only card they have
... fear of terrorism. They're surely not going to make it on their Robin-Hood-in-reverse domestic policy.

The card they hold is a two of clubs, and we need to share that with America.

P.S. one of the richest men in Saudi Arabia owns a significant portion of the US media now - I'm sure * will use him to push his propaganda as well..especially as said prince has joined with Rupert Murdoch..

or are they thinking Jeff Gannon and Free Republic to push their message ???
