The Pentagon is quietly moving to fill draft board vacancies nationwide. While officials say there's no cause to worry, some experts aren't so sure.

1. I called the SS "friendly automated answering service"

The gist of the automated reply: Only Congress and the prez can reinstate the induction process. Those men who are registered with the Selective Service (according to law), and who turn 20 in the calendar year that induction is reinstated, will be the first called. This will be based on the lottery/birthdate system, as before. When we run out of the 20-year-olds as cannon fodder, then the next group will be 21-year-olds, then 22-year-olds, et cetera.

Of course the draft is coming. How else can we sustain perpetual bushwar under the Republicannibal Regime?

SS = Selective Service and SS = uh oh! Strange coincidence, eh?

They can't wait until we need the draft, and then start preparing. It has to be way in advance.

Still, I think this supports the view that we have a higher likelihood of a draft now than any time since Vietnam.
