Allard's record speaks for itself

Poor Wayne Allard. This is so unfair.

When Time magazine named him one of the five worst members of the U.S. Senate, they ranked the Colorado Republican way down there with Jack Abramoff sidekick Conrad Burns of Montana, Kentucky's baseball-is-all-that-matters Sen. Jim Bunning, Daniel Akaka (Senator who?) of Hawaii and Sen. Foot-in-Mouth, Mark Dayton of Minnesota.

Now really, Sen. Dullard isn't that bad, is he? Look at the record. After nearly 10 years in the Senate, what's the one thing we remember as Allard's defining moment?

1. Sad but true

His greatest accomplishment is getting a baseball field built in a little town? That's actually good news. If his proudest moment were actually something that had a state or nationwide impact, I don't think many DUers would be too happy about whatever it is.
