All races united against the GOP.
(While the kings count their treasure, the peasants fought among themselves.)
Backlash? What backlash? After the massive demonstrations by Latinos on Mayday, right wing media went on this propaganda offensive. First they declare the boycott a failure. Not true, not by a long shot. Then they warned of a mythical backlash. It hasn’t happened like the Karl Roves clones wished for. There is a racist campaign on foot by GOP agitprops to stir up racial tension among Americans. Just watch Fox News. Every news story has a racial tint to it. This immigration issue was intended to divide the Democratic Party. To a certain extent, it has succeeded in certain Democratic quarters. Certain Democrats has been suckered into this non-issue. Good advice, ignore this issue! Stay focused on the war on terrorism and the fall of the Bush administration. Also stay tune on how the CIA will wage a counter-offensive against the NeoCons. Yesterday, former CIA agent Ray McGovern verbally attacked Rumsfeld in front of an audience and TV cameras. Fox News conveniently overlooked this encounter. They did report about the anti-war hecklers who were there. One of the hecklers was a mother of a soldier who died in Iraq. Ever since Bush appointed Porter Goss to head the agency, CIA operatives has moved to remove the Neo-Conservative hold on the Government. The only backlash that is happening is not by angry white guys against poor Mexicans sneaking across the border, it is by the CIA and generals from the U.S military. There many types of people you do not want to cross and one is the CIA. JFK wanted to dismantle the CIA and look what happened to him. The right wing has a power struggle going on. If I were to bet on who will win between the Bushies and the CIA, I have money on the CIA.
In political poker, the Republicans are playing the race card. Nobody is going for it. Fox news can interview the Fake Black Panther Party all they want. They can broadcast all the, “Let’s kill all the honkies” rhetoric they want. People are not gullible as you think. Matter of fact, if you are in a room of a diverse group of people from every race, greed or nationality and you say how bad Bush is, there will be a unity in the room. Bush is a uniter after all.
