Bush*s National Guard Early Discharge Request Found
Certain documents available on the Web are so piquant that commentary seems superfluous. In honor of Veterans Day, Chatterbox serves up an objet trouvé concerning President George W. Bush's Vietnam-era service in the Texas Air National Guard. The found object is young Dubya's request—four months after his superiors reported they'd seen hide nor hair of him during the previous year—that he be discharged early so he can attend Harvard Business School. Enjoy. (You may need to click on the lower right-hand corner of the document to enlarge it to readable form.)

2. To Bush's credit...
...I must note that not one North Vietnamese MIG dared go into Alabama airspace between 1971-1973.

...between 1971-1973, either. Or did he?

8. Da-oyy?
Like pretty much everthang L'il sprout does , it's still a "bashable"
offense. Criminal, too.

It was four months after he was unaccounted for that he decided to let everyone know it was time to release him from his obligations.

Hey! maybe the reservists here in the USA who haven't been shipped to Iraq yet should all write a little letter like this? "Thanks, It's been swell, and I know y'all got yer war on, but there are some classes down to the learning annex I've had my heart set on taking."

Yours truly,...

11. He was AWOL before he requested to get out
He should have been punished, but with a powerful daddy, the Air Force just showed him the door.

12. An ignored fact is Major James A. Bath was also suspended
from flying for failure to take a drug test.
Goggle "james bath" "george bush" and learn more about their association.

14. I really liked this one...
President Bush gave today, in which he said, "Every veteran understands the meaning of personal accountability and loyalty and shared sacrifice."

Except if you are a Bush then personal accountability, loyalty and shared sacrifice means deserting from his post and disobeying direct orders. He is a complete f--king a--hole. Of course if I had gone AWOL for a year while I was serving in the military I can bet that they would have tracked me down and I would have done hard time at Leavenworth Federal Prison. I guess if really helps to have a dad in a high government position.
