Koch Industries laying off thousands from Georgia Pacific Div

Our neighbor & good friend told us about this the other day, he is NOT a happy camper, he's worked for GP for 17 years and is pretty sure he'll be out on his butt in a month or so. This Koch outfit has a long dirty reputation for buying companies & running them down the toilet whilst pocketing 'hugh' bags of money in the process. There's even a term in the oil business, a "Koch Barrel" from their long past of selling oil to refineries and cooking the books so the royalty or interest owners get paid for about 35 gallons per barrel instead of the standard 42. Our friend is -real- worried about losing his health insurance which seems to be inevitable. :-(
