Dobbs: Bush, Senate 'lackeys' reach new low

NEW YORK (CNN) -- The Bush White House and its lackeys in the Senate have reached a new low in their quest to bestow amnesty on 11 million to 20 million illegal immigrants, while doing as little as possible to secure our nation's borders and ports.

We're now being treated to a great spectacle of incompetence as the Senate holds hearings on immigration reform more than a month after it passed what Sens. John McCain, R-Arizona, Ted Kennedy, D-Massachusetts, Chuck Hagel, R-Nebraska, Mel Martinez, R-Florida, Bill Frist, R-Tennessee, and Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania, hailed as a grand and historic compromise.

In Miami this week, one of those hearings produced a memorable moment as the administration trotted out Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to appear before cameras discussing his immigrant father. The senators and the White House demonstrated that they have no shame in continuing to try to blur the line between legal and illegal immigration. And I, for one, believe their insult to the nation's top general and the American people is unforgivable.

Theirs is not leadership; it's raw, cynical politics and cowardly obfuscation at its worst. I truly believe that President Bush and the Senate leadership owe the American people and Gen. Pace an apology. <snip>

Ouch!That's gotta hurt.
Lou's becoming a first rate truth teller.

2. I watch him most every night
sometimes have to take a break, but I think he is pretty much on target. No one is perfect, but I think he tries and he cares.

4. If he is a republican, he certainly has no qualms about laying
the truth out about his party. Has he announced that he is one? I watch him several nights a week and I've never heard him say what party he's affilitated with. I would hope he wouldn't make that known.

5. Lou Dobbs Is A LIBERTARIAN... I've Never Heard That He's A
Republican, but have heard others commenting about him being a Libertarian when they are on his show.

Regardless, he has made some head-way in exposing some glaring LIES about "the corrupt ones!"

7. Agreed! I Will Say He Has Surprised Me Somewhat....
I never thought he could be so determined. It's just too bad that MSM has to get hit over the head before they squeal just a little!

And still it goes on, too many still are shoveling shit as fast as they get it handed to them!

Today is my first day back watching the crap again. I stopped for almost a month... NOTHING much has changed, actually seems to be even worse! I'm an addicted politico and always knew I would be back, but it was driving me insane! I had to stop because it was giving me stomach cramps, literally!

I just got contacted about a meeting in D.C. this coming September so I decided to check things out again. I need ACTION, not just blogging or emailing and am going to see how this D.C. thing catches on. I HOPE it builds cause that's where I want to be! I'm so tired of yelling at my T.V. or just blogging along and reading other posts! We need to stand up and FIGHT!

8. Nope, I'm quite sure I read an interview with Dobbs a while back
where he stated he's a lifelong REPUBLICAN.
