My LTTE; they won't run it, but what the heck...

The OpinionJournal.com carried this review of great books about cheating lovers:

http://www.opinionjournal.com/weekend/fivebest/?id=110008693

So, I decided to write this in response:

I'd also suggest "Take Your Tounge Out of My Mouth; I'm Kissing You Goodbye" (Hardcourt, 2005). The story of a doomed love triangle between corporate lobbyists, a corrupt Congress, and a lame duck President.

Another suggestion is "My Left Hand" by James Taranto (Herritage Foundation Press, 2006). A think-tank refugee begins a mad, violently passionate love affair with his own left hand, ultimately giving it it's own name (Greta). Once caught by his jealous right hand, the relationship is doomed to degenerate in to editorial wanking.

Also, notably missing from your list is, "I Wouldn't Have Had to Punch Her So Hard if She Would Have Only Listened to What I Said the First Time." by John Fund (Dow Jones Editorial Press, 2000). A coming of age story about a hack that rises to the top of faux-moralist Conservative punditry despite dating and subsequently beating his ex-girlfriend's daughter.
