When will someone finally say that we've lost The Fiasco in Iraq?
I thought I'd ask just how long it's going to be before we acknowledge that we've already lost the war in Iraq. As a nation we seem to be really slow to catch on. I mean, just how long was it between the time the Watergate 'burglary' happened and the 'resignation'?

September 9, 1971: The White House "plumbers" unit - named for their orders to plug leaks in the administration - burglarizes a psychiatrist's office to find files on Daniel Ellsberg, the former defense analyst who leaked the Pentagon Papers.

August 8, 1974: Richard Nixon becomes the first U.S. president to resign. Vice President Gerald R. Ford assumes the country's highest office. He will later pardon Nixon of all charges related to the Watergate case.

Yikes! Another 2-3 years? It's my take that the new book 'Fiasco' is an attempt to 'say' we've lost the war without the direct articulation. I hear people saying "We want to impeach Bush" but I hear no one saying (yet) "We've lost another war of choice". I recommend saying it to everyone.

I hope that this time there'll be no pardon.

4. when the oil is gone. Not a minute sooner. Point of the war is
so American oil companies can profit from pumping Iraq's oil and dictate how much or little is pumped--and the less pumped, the more they can screw us at the pump.

Until Democrats start talking specifically about the oil motive for the war, they tacitly approve of us staying.

6. When will they say we lost?
Answer = when the creditor comes & knocks on the door of the White House.

= when we are not able to fund any more wars.

I've always said that the Neo Cons have many, many plans for us. They were just getting warmed up in Iraq & Afghanistan!!! That was only bus stop #1. So many wars, so little time.....

They were ambitious, there is no doubt about that. They were going to remake the world according to their vision. The only problem is, they didn't even get started and we're broke. We are technically bankrupt.

There is nothing that will stop these people, except when the money runs out. No amount of diplomacy, no begging, no threats, not even when the entire world was united against Bush & Cheney that did not stop them.

But 1 thing will stop them.....NO MOOLAH? NO WAR.
