MICKEY Z.: A 9/11 angle ignored by Hollywood
Mickey Z. -- World News Trust

As Oliver Stone falls all over himself to appear mainstream, Hollywood continues to ignore geo-political context and questions about the official story. So, if it's all about finding 9/11 "heroes" to canonize on the Big Screen, how about those involved with Peaceful Tomorrows?

From their mission statement: "Peaceful Tomorrows is an organization founded by family members of those killed on September 11th who have united to turn our grief into action for peace. By developing and advocating non-violent options and actions in the pursuit of justice, we hope to break the cycles of violence engendered by war and terrorism."

One such family member is Jeremy Glick. His father, Barry, was a Port Authority worker who died at the World Trade Center. Not content with letting others speak for him or paint him with the broad brushes of patriotism and revenge, Glick co-authored a book, 'Another World is Possible,' and in 2003, appeared as a guest on Fox News Channel's 'The O'Reilly Factor.' The show's host, Bill O'Reilly, was particularly irate about Glick signing an anti-war advertisement that included this passage:

"We too watched with shock the horrific events of September 11 ... we too mourned the thousands of innocent dead and shook our heads at the terrible scenes of carnage -- even as we recalled similar scenes in Baghdad, Panama City, and a generation ago, Vietnam."

1. No way will Hollywood be interested in stories like this.
Peace doesn't require huge special effects, bathetic self-indulgence, or the rehashing of revenge fantasies that were old when the Ancient Greeks first staged them. Unfortunately, these are precisely the areas in which Hollywood excels.

Instead, the portrayal of people who have turned personal tragedy into a cry for peace requires the ability to create complex dialog, evoke subtle emotions, and weave intricate plots; things Hollywood is demonstrably incapable of producing, and most Americans are incapable of following.

Hollywood can only tell the easy stories. The difficult ones that reflect real life are beyond them.

2. O"Reilly ex posed
The link with the rest of the article sure does a good job of showing Faux's TopSmuck for the unprofessional petulant kid he really is. How many times has Billious lost it when confronted with an actual thinking guest. I wish I could compile Billbutt's asinine breakdowns and play them all back to my siblings - they all think he's such a finely tuned intellect. Here with Jeremy Glick the billy-boohoo just melts down into his basically spoiled toddler state of being.
As always with these creeps there is the double denial - denial of anyone else's viewpoint and denial of plain old reality.
