Another ALLEGED!! terrorist attack how convenient

I woke up again and here we go again with the scare of terrorism again. yes there are people who are trying to kill us BUT i am skeptical about this administration that when ever they are in political trouble they use the terrorism threat to scare the people to get it in the news. maybe this is for real but i just do not put any thing past Rove and this Bush ADMINISTRATION.

There going to MILK this one all weekend into next week. to much of a coincidence to me when we just had a democratic primary where ther favorite democrate lost and was in the news and this pops up.

it won't be long, imo, before they are blaming iran for this crap. and it ever so conveniently knocks the talk of lieberman/bush's loss off the front pages. they did try the 'egyptian students missing' tale but the media yawned mostly. this has got 'em all atwitter.

Notice there haven't been many lately? The last rash of "terra" alerts was right around election time last year. It's getting to be a seasonal event, like the swallows returning to Capistrano or geese heading north in the spring. Every time elections draw near the "terra" alerts start coming out in waves. :eyes: Whatever it takes to keep the electorate in a state of fear and totally dependent upon the government for their protection. I think they've gone to this well far too often though. People aren't buying it like they used to. The "terra" tactic just doesn't evoke the same reaction it once did which makes me think they'll have to ratchet up the level somewhat. A REAL attack is what's needed for the GOP to retain control in November. I don't know.........something like another "Pearl Harbor" event? :eyes: It's worked before!
It's pretty bad when we've become this cynical of our government but there is every reason TO be cynical.

7. Its so much easier to know if the attack is real if they let it happen

Thank goodness no one stopped 9-11 we never would've known if the threat was real. Seriously, it pays to be skeptical but I'd rather not have them wait to intervene until the prove is in the outcome.

8. If These "Terrorists" Had Been Stopped at a Luggage Search

with explosives in their bags, I'd be convinced. Otherwise, it smells to high heaven.
