Down in drowning Orleans

Now the only thing the Ninth Ward needs
Is a suitcase and a trunk
And real bright lights for a visit
From our born-again, ne’er-do-well, drunk

To make sure, that they vote Blue
Or they’ll spend their lives in misery
And learning, how, to row crew

Well, I got one finger, in the levee
The middle one in the air

Who sends, his faith-based, prayer
