Second U.S. lawmaker faces misconduct allegations
A U.S. congressional board which oversees a Capitol Hill internship program rocked by a sex scandal, discussed allegations on Monday involving a second lawmaker, said Rep. Dale Kildee, a Michigan Democrat.

Kildee made the comment as he emerged from a closed-door meeting of a House ethics committee, which has been focused on the case of former Republican Rep. Mark Foley of Florida, who resigned last month following disclosure he sent inappropriate electronic messages to male teenage interns, known as pages.

"It's only been allegations made," Kildee told reporters of the House page board's discussion about a second lawmaker, who he declined to identify.

Kildee said he and other board members had a conference call earlier in the day about "other allegations, not about Mr. Foley." Kildee also indicated the page board had talked about the matter with the second lawmaker.

3. "a Capitol Hill internship program" - that's a lie and Reuters knows it.
There is no "U.S. congressional board which oversees a Capitol Hill internship program" . There is the House Page Board, but it has nothing to do with any internship programs. There are dozens if not hundreds of "Capitol Hill internship" programs but they are not sponsored or overseen by any congressional board of which I am aware. Colleges and universities, think tanks, unions, etc. sponsor Capitol Hill internships. Interns are almost always college students, and always older than high school age.

The House Page program however is an entirely different thing, a House sponsored program overseen by the House Page Board for high school juniors, 66 of them at a time.

Rep. Killdee is on the House Page Board, which does not oversee interns. Pages and interns are different. Reuters knows that. Reuters is lying for Karl Rove.

:grr:
