Economic Report: Job Creation In Five year Recovery Worst Ever

Economic Report

Employment data through the first five years of the recovery, in comparison with four other recoveries of this length, shows job growth this time around to be the slowest on record. The Economic Policy Institute crunched the numbers and and found that payrolls in both the private and public sector are down. The slow growth means it will take longer for working families to see gains.

real estate market going into crapper takes all the connected trades down with it...

construction has been the only bright spot in employment numbers for several years, except the "would-you-like-fries-with-that" jobs...

for enlightenment, read past commentary on jobs market by (of all people) Paul Craig Roberts...

2. some construction will suffer... I think we will be ok
Painting and light re-modeling

Our phone has been ringing off the hook (ok, not really, but we have far more work requests than we can handle) and this is supposed to be the slow time of year.

I think people are already starting to re-mod their existing homes, instead of buying bigger.

in India, especially.
