He sure appears in the Kansas City Star (KnightRidder) a lot.
I personally find him to be among the most vicious and at the same time one of the most insubstantial rightwing 'pundits' in the media - right up there just below the level of Limbaugh and Coulter. I find that usually his pieces amount to a series of insults with very little actual political content. I have written to my daily fishwrap a number of times regarding his insulting and meritless pieces, but of course rarely get a response. I always CC my criticisms to Johah Goldberg at jonahscolumn@aol.com . Once I actually got a response. Here it follows and I quote: 'Yawn.' The response was perhaps more concise but just as insubstantial as his oped pieces, I would say.
By the way, for those who do not know, he is the son of Lucianne Goldberg of Linda Tripp/Monica fame.
Here is his latest piece I responded to:
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/jonahgoldberg/jg20031210.shtmlOddly, a few paragraphs seem to be missing in that version and The National Review is not even holding an archive of that particular column - at least that I can see.
Anyway, I was just wondering who else out in DU land finds Goldberg to be particurly offensive while bereft of any redeeming political value, as I do, and if your major local daily subjects you to him as ours does on a regular basis here.
