Is the Bush Wall going the way of the Berlin Wall?
Is the Bush Wall going the way of the Berlin Wall?

It helps to remember the Berlin Wall crumbled fairly quickly after the cracks began to appear.

That's the thing about the crumbling walls. Typically they crack before they collapse. Which is another way of saying that they "appear" to be more solid and long lasting than they really are -- but sometimes you have to look closely to see the cracks.

So let's talk about several cracks in the Bush Wall:

(1.) First, the polls. Statistics is a branch of mathematics and mathematics can be trusted. Hence, the polls can be trusted and the polls are MAJOR cracks in the Bush Wall. Over and over again we read poll results that put the Bush Administration in the lower 30%, sometimes even the high 20%. Shades of Richard Nixon! An administration simply CANNOT dominate a country with statistics like that. The super tanker of the United States of America absolutely doesn't answer to a mere 20 to 3O percent of the country! Of course, the Bushivicks "act as if" they're still in control, but mathematics says otherwise.

A counter argument is that the wall is still standing, but that's just the point. It may have the appearance of solidarity, but so did the Berlin Wall. And where is it now?

One thing is absolutely certain (to mix our metaphors); once Humpty Dumpty (alias, Georgie Porgie) tumbles off his evil perch, that will be the absolute end of him. Finito. And finito to anything and everyone closely associated with him, e.g., the Rupert Murdoch media traitors are inevitably going to be tarred by the same brush. When the "House of Bush" falls, it's going to make a boom heard on Mars.

(2.) The 2006 midterms were a virtual breach in the wall. Predictably, most diaper dems are sucking their thumbs as per usual, but the committees are the turning wheels of justice and they are NOT headed by diaper dems like Happy Hillary Clinton and Judas Joe Lieberman. They are headed by dems with TEETH and the more these committees dig, the more the cracks in the wall will widen.

(3.) The religious fundamentalists have become a moral laughing stock. It all started with "Dr." Frist (remember Dr. videotape?) and then spread to sex scandal after sex scandal. Jeez, makes you think the fundies want to act out as much libido as possible before their death-wishing Armageddon (the Baptist Big Bang). In any event, the fundies are now clearly more part of the problem than the solution for the pugs, i.e., fundies = more cracks in the wall.

(4.) Perhaps the most obvious crack is coming from the pugs themselves as repiglican after repiglican is jumping ship these days. Even Buckley Jr. is writing pieces about the death of the Republican Party.

(5.) Lots more cracks we could talk about, but another biggie is that millions of Americans are finally waking up the truth the neocon lobby isn't lobbying for the United States of America, and the more that fact gets into the American consciousness, the you know what will hit the fan. These America-trashing foreign policies were cooked up by people like Paul Wolfowitz (speaking of sex scandals!), and the Wolfowitz cabal certainly wasn't thinking about the well being and national security of the land of the free and the home of the brave. The neocon lobby has, and always has had, priorities elsewhere!

The big idea here is that even though the Bush Wall still looks relatively sold at a distance, the more you get up close, the more you see that it is crumbling from within. Too many fascist/fundamentalist termites. Too much public corruption. Too many bare faced Presidential lies. Too much treasonous hubris and ego. Too much murder of Mother Nature and too much trading of our children's blood for stolen Middle Eastern oil.

After 2008 we'll be using the stones to make prisons for the traitors. Sure, some of this is fun and wishful thinking, but most of it is hard core seeing it like it is.

crack, crack, crack, . . .
