Gonzales should resign (Dover - New Philadelphia Times Reporter)
We think it’s time for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. ~snip~

We think Gonzales ought to follow the example of fellow Bush appointee Paul Wolfowitz, who resigned last week as president of the World Bank because of the furor over compensation he arranged for his girlfriend, a bank employee. There’s a time to fight, and then there’s a time to throw in the towel and admit defeat. It’s time Gonzales throws in the towel.

Without Republican support, his days are numbered. For the good of the Justice Department, for the good of the country and for his own good, Gonzales ought to leave, before he is unceremoniously given the boot.
