being anti-immigrant is bad enough. but just stringing together a lot of factoids, as though it were an argument, is a rethug thing to do. so i looked to see who you were. suppose i'll get a bing for this.

didn't write the article. This is just an article that's linked in the post that someone else has written. (It's always nice to have a little summary in the post, though).

I'm going to take the position that the article points out many things that are correct, and are perceived as a threat to american workers. How this shakes down in the next few years is hard to tell. It still creates a lot of hardship for many out-of-work americans right now, though.

note, H1B visa holders are not "immigrants" in the true sense of the word. they're not here to make a life permanently in this country; they're not counted by the system that controls the number of real "immigrants"; they're just here to weaken the domestic labor market.
