1. Hopefully this will spur some useful innovations from other providers.

That phone looks awesome.

A shame it will cost so much.
A bigger shame that you're tied to AT&T.

3. If you can wait until December
I believe I read some where that the Iphone/AT&T exclusive arrangement is only for 6 months. After that other providers can start offering the Iphone.

Take the above comment with a grain of salt and research it before getting excited/depressed or whatever.
