GOP refutes Limbaugh (on abuse of prescription painkillers)
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/opinion/content/auto/epaper/editions/friday/opinion_f3df7e38d1c3e06000b2.html

On Wednesday, the very conservative Republican who is Florida's attorney general urged the Legislature to create a computer network that he believes will allow the state to better track abuse of prescription painkillers.

On Wednesday, the very conservative Republican state senator who is sponsoring the bill urged the Legislature to do the same.

On Wednesday, the state's drug czar -- who was appointed by the very conservative Republican governor -- urged the Legislature to do the same.

All of them acknowledged that they were trying to capitalize on the publicity surrounding the very conservative talk-radio host who is under investigation for "doctor-shopping," fraudulently obtaining exessive amounts of prescription painkillers. So were all these very conservative Republicans also "singling out" Rush Limbaugh?

2. I'm a patient.................
at a pain and symptom management clinic in FL because of a serious back injury. When I applied for treatment I had to sign a form stating that I would not seek medication from any other Doctor under penalty of losing the services of the pain clinic.
In other words, if I "double dipped" like Lardbutt, I wouldn't be able to get my pain meds ANYWHERE!
Lardbutt had to have signed such a waiver as well, it's state law.
He obviously violated the law, and that should preclude him from ever receiving treatment in FL again, at least as far as pain management goes. I don't suppose the same rules apply to Lardbutt and myself though.
Jebbie and his cabal have been fighting legislation such as this for a long time now, maybe reason will prevail this time and this epidemic of Doctors prescribing painkillers will finally be off the streets. It's funny that Lardbutt's misfortune, their patron saint of bullshit, would be the impetus of this legislation.

4. Could it be?
That Rush Limbaugh is the Al Capone of talk (read: hate) radio?
