I Didn’t Vote For Him...

"I didn’t vote for him, but he’s my president and I hope he’s up to the job."
— John Wayne, American, upon the victory of John F. Kennedy over Richard M. Nixon, 1960

"I didn’t vote for him, he’s not my president and I know he’s going to completely screw up the country."
— Jerry Tenuto, Italian-American upon the theft of the election of Al Gore by the forces behind George W. Bush, 2000

When will America, and our chosen Representatives in Congress, stand up and scream: "I have had enough!"?

So, Dictator Bush has decided that Irving Libby’s sentence of 30 months in a Federal penitentiary was harsh and excessive?

Where does that put Jose‘ Padilla, singled out by the Little Dictator to languish in prison, lo, these numerous years without benefit of bona fide charges or a real trial? And, as his "trial" now goes, the Justice Department of Inquisitor General Alberto Gonzales has been utilizing the actions of others to sway the jury against Padilla.

Then take the two U.S. Border Patrol Agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, who have been sentenced to, and are serving under life-threatening conditions, double-digit prison terms after being railroaded by Gonzo’s DoJ simply for performing their jobs.

If these aren’t enough, consider the hundreds of thousands of Americans incarcerated for the major criminal act of smoking or holding small amounts of the ‘Devil’s Weed’ — marijuana. Time and again people are subjected to prison sentences of five years or more just because they enjoy the effects of a weed, and possess a few grams thereof.

In the tragicomedy that has become our country’s legal system Reggie B. Walton, the judge who sentenced Irv (aka "Scooter"), was one of the first Federal bench nominees selected by Lame Dubya after stealing the keys to the Oval Office. This jurist was precisely what the new Regime was looking for – tough on crime and unafraid to impose stiff sentences.
