Arming former insurgents is a really bad idea, but what else can we do?
When former insurgents offer to help us out with the security situation in exchange for training and munitions, we really don't have a choice. We're so short of people over here, generals are asking for more troops that just don't exist in the entire Army, so when former insurgents "promise" to help us out and secure their own Area of Operation, we pretty much have to take them at their word.

I know what these groups are up to. They know that we're not going to be here much longer, so they're grabbing all they can from us while we're here: training on military tactics from the best military in the world... http://www.hamlettpost.com">Click here to continue reading
