In 2004 the independent 9/11 Commission made 41 recommendations to increase security and prevent another terrorist attack. The now Democratic Congress succeeded today in implementing the recommendations that had been the Republican controlled Congress failed to act on for over two years. Dems have been calling for their implementation and, now that they have control, are moving it forward. It’s interesting to see the priorities of the parties by looking at how they vote.
