Biggest fans of the O'Hanlon/Pollack op-ed?

Rep. Adam Putnam (R-Fla.), a top House GOP leader, said much more significant was an op-ed in Monday's New York Times by two Brookings Institution scholars, Michael E. O'Hanlon and Kenneth M. Pollack. The two Iraq experts contended that the surge is starting to work.

The White House blasted the op-ed to its allies within minutes of its publication -- and the National Review directed its readers to the piece shortly after.

permitted themselves to be "used".

Every story begins Two Democrats say the Surge is working.

2. Both Bush and Cheney have publically pointed out the Report as justifacation

for progress.

3. It just so happened to be published the day that Cheney was doing an interview

with Larry King

Just like all the articles that Judith Miller wrote that were leaked from the White House and then referenced by Dick or other WH officials in big interviews that day or the next day.
