Can we please as a culture agree stop pretending that Republicans aren’t a bunch of effete pussies? Bill Frist? Hello? He makes Ru Paul look like Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Why won’t anybody call these guys out? Ralph Reed? Lindsay Graham? Even the ones like little Ricky Santorum whose wife spits out babies like a lawn sprinkler have that certain oily, southern-preachery prissiness about them, up to and including President Poppinjay himself. You’ve seen what he’s like when he’s mad. He stamps his little feet and starts talking all snippy and bitchy. I’ve seen ten year old girls who were more intimidating when piqued.

None of them have ever worn the uniform of this country. Their idea of “sport” is to get blind on whiskey sours and go shoot at a bunch of farm-raised birds on private land, but with a full Level One trauma team standing by, of course.

How many more of them will have to get arrested soliciting sex in public toilets before people finally cop to the fact that Republicans are a bunch of nasty old wealthy queens who cheat on their wives with other men and who can’t under any circumstances be trusted around teenage boys?

*** - You do realized of course, that no one could have written the script for this summer, even if they had been on LSD. We had Larry Craig back in June peeking into bathroom stall door cracks (we assume those are the cracks he was looking into). Although I do admire his Congressional staff's abilities, because they were extremely succesful in keeping all this under the radar back in MN where it happened (wonder if Pawlenty knew about this?), and back home in Idaho. Its no telling what he gave away to keep this out of the news for so long. Hmmmm.

Then we had David Vitter in July with his diaper fetish causing the sale of Depends to skyrocket. All those old-crusty ass Repukes shitting themselves, no doubt. Sitting there in their shitty diapers wondering "where the hell is Barry Goldwater?" And this one came with a bonus with Mrs. Vitter all decked-out sort hooker-ish herself at the press conference where they both blamed his sexual problems on us. And the liberal press. Of course. And to explain that David's receiving "help" for his affliction. Oh, and he found Jesus again. {that Jesus is a slippery character}

And then this month there was Representative Bob Allen, the legislator from the state that gave us Bush one too many damn times. And who is also a part-time weatherman who scans the skies in fear of lightening strikes. While fighting to control his other fear, that of "stocky black men." He fights these fears, by visiting public restrooms in parks and solicits to give these stocky black guys blowjobs. While its lightening outside, apparently. A kind of "emersion therapy" it would seem. Oh, but he did it for pay though -- at $20 a pop, so to speak.

So it's been almost perfect. Hell, even Gonzo resigned yesterday and he didn't have to give anybody a blowjob. Well, not counting Karl Rove and Bush, of course.

At this rate, its going to be hard to top this cum September........

As for hookers needing nurse training, given the state of wages and salaries for most workers these days, I wouldn't be surprised to find that many nurses are indeed supplementing their incomes with additional employment. Clark County GOP Chair and newly elected Young Republican National Federation Chair Glenn Murphy is under investigation for criminal deviate conduct, a Class B felony, for allegedly engaging in oral sex with a sleeping victim. This is not his first run-in with the law for this kind of offense.
