White House Braces For Another Book
Got this from Buzzflash. I know books are good and the information must get out there but do you think piling it on could totally desensitize and really turn people off to the plight the nation is really in?

White House Braces For Another Book
The Wall Street Journal's Washington Wire notes a new book is "due out before long," by Richard Clarke, a top White House terrorism expert under both President Clinton and the current President Bush. Against All Enemies : Inside the White House's War on Terror--What Really Happened charges "the Bush administration largely ignored the threat before 9/11, particularly from Osama bin Laden, even after al Qaeda took responsibility for bombing the U.S.S. Cole, which killed 17."

3. Repetition is very important because...
as we have seen, it works. Let's have it work for us this time. Enough mentions of Bush buffoonery and it will begin to sink in for those millions who only listen to the TV and radio with one ear and no brain. Combine that with the sick economy which is affecting so many people and I believe that the Chimp will spend his golden years clearing brush on his pig farm.

18. Agreed But...The Media Works Against Truth
Jr. had 100's of hours of free air time to repeat his lies. The media giants provided 1000's of hours of their own cheerleading and aren't about to come clean EVER.

Thank God the books are selling.

4. Maybe this will put additional pressure on the Commission
to do a good job. Don't you love the fact that two politicos of Bush were interviewed by their own committee. (One might have been a Clinton aide.) Clinton and Gore were on top of this; they have nothing to worry about. Bush is the biggest screwup ever. Now we can add the 3000 lives to the 500 and to the 10's of 1000's of innocent Iraqi children.

5. Excellent news, although Bush will blame everything on Clinton.
Kreepers, shittoheads and the obedient media all will be instructed on what to believe and say, but every little bit helps.

6. Brainwashing
When 60% of the American public believed that Saddam was directly involved with 911 after continuous indirect references were made to the false concept by Dubya and his crew, one must come to the conclusion that repeating a lie is efective. Even after Dubya was forced to admit no evidence of Saddam's involvement was available, many people persisted in still believing that it was a fact.

It seems that the Neo Fascists studied Nazi tactics closely.

8. There's another good book out, too – "The Bush Dynasty"
I was reading it in B&N. The author is a former Republican strategist who goes back to Nixon. He's supposed to be on cSpan at 10:00 pm tonight. He had a good chapter on Election 2000.

Truly scary book - seems well documented, but needed editing - he keeps telling you what his book outline is.

9. WTF??? Bu$h IS a moron
I read this article on buzzflash and found it to be quite interesting too.....

Is Bush Coming Out of the Closet or Just Plain Bizarre? "Well, you got a pretty face," Bush told the surprised Mr. Reid. He wasn't done. "You got a pretty face," Bush said again. "You're a good-looking guy. Better looking than my Scott anyway."

13. So what will the administration come up with to distract us on this one?
Barbara will come down with cancer, and she'll be plastered all over the media, and show up for some f-ing boohoo fake cry-fest with the queen of fakery Opera?

Shrub will find a pressing need to go to...pick a country at random, Shrub, you have to choose quickly... Sweden!...okay, Shrub, why?...think quickly, the media's talking about that new book...to talk with the King about global warming? Yep, that'll work.

Shrub will suddenly decide that America needs to make another national park - a new kind of national park, for the people - and goes on TV and makes a speach and have a ridiculous amount of press briefings?

We'll suddenlly have "really good, really accurate and substanital information" about where Osama (who's that?) is. (I put that in quotes to imply that it will be neither good, nor accurate, and more than likely, not even existent, but the media will swiftly drop the book issue and never come back to it)

Which do you pick? Do you have another idea?

17. No.
Repetition is good. When Tightie Righties see one or two articles on the Net, they don't believe them. When they see book after book detailing the atrocities of the Cheney-Bush junta, the wheels start to come off of their sef-righteous wagons.

Bush is wrong, the whole world knows it, and it's starting to trickle down to the masses.

Here are a thousand reasons why...

19. I just ordered Price of Loyalty
looking forward to reading it

although my partner has been rolling her eyes about what she is calling "my obsession" since the selection of 2000 - she asked that I highlight the "good" parts of the book

don't know if "my obsession" has influenced her or not, but lately she's been coming home from work with bits of news and articles regarding the latest Bush* policy - on her list of hot button issues is his environmental policies

the other night, we were watching a report on the mars lander - they showed pictures of the martian landscape - my partner remarked "is that mars or an 'after' picture of our state/federal parks when Bush* gets done with them?"

21. Read Franken's chapter on "Operation Ignore"
Everybody in American needs to know this information: Bush had all the information they needed on al-Qaeda, and the same (Clinton-team authored) blueprint they implementing after 9/11 long in advance.

Bush is responsible for 9/11, there is no doubt about it. There will be a lot of "how dare they second guess us", but the facts speak for themselves.
