Bush Porn Pic sparks US Anger

When a British artist was denied US backing to paint a portrait of President George Bush he decided to make an 'alternative' version - from images of porn.

Now Jonathan Yeo, 36, has caued a stir in the US, where Republicans have attacked the work for being in poor taste.

A Republican spokesman said: "This picture is very distasteful. Why would anyone want to make a picture of our President from pornographic material?"

But Jonathan, son of former Tory backbencher Tim Yeo, told Metro: "I did it for fun. I was mildly irritated after the commission was cancelled and just went with this idea which initially I thought would not end up in a gallery."

"I suppose it was a bit of amusement for myself, poking fun at this unpopular man and for the majority of those who have seen it it has struck a chord. Essentially it makes people smile and it's an interesting new medium for me."

We have been sweltering but the rain is cooling things off a bit. It has been pouring here in NE GA! We'll have a warm sunny day and then BAM! Massive thunder, lightening and wind. We had trees down, houses catching on fire from lighting strikes and traffic lights out. It has been much needed rain but the storms have been destructive. We've had a record drought and the other week it was 106 degrees (air temperature) in Athens!

My rose bush fell over yesterday. I think the soil went from parched and cracked to soaked and the whole bush tilted at 45 degrees. I'll have to dig it up and replant it tonight.

Pick a Bush portrait (or upload it) and have it automatically recreated as a montage of themed images of your choice. Mutilated corpses, weeping people, drug paraphernalia, blood spatters, flames, dog piles in various textures and shades... You could even do a recursive montage with a Bush portrait composed of dozens of thumbnail photos of Bush being an ass. Or you could do an ass-shaped montage with Bush pictures!
