Hannity Says Bin Laden Sounds Like Democrats - Twice
Perhaps at a loss as to how to spin the new video of Osama Bin Laden in favor of President Bush, Sean Hannity decided he’d use it to attack his fellow Americans. The self-styled “Great American” proved just what kind of patriot and freedom lover he truly is by twice likening Democrats to Osama Bin Laden. Is there any partisanship more despicable? Take action! With video. Updated with advertiser and political contact information.

In the first part of a two-part discussion, the sole guest was Bush’s former Chief of Staff, Andrew Card. At about 3 minutes into the discussion, Hannity said, “(Bin Laden) seemed to adopt the very same language that is being used by the hard left in this country as he describes what’s going on in Iraq as a civil war, he actually used the term ‘neocons,’ he talks about global warming, he demonizes capitalism and corporations in this whole thing - very, very specific language.”

Alan Colmes did a decent job of confronting Card on the Bush administration’s war on terror but seemed to pull his punches when the opportunity to really nail Card arose. For example, Colmes asked if it wasn’t a mistake for Bush to have said a few years ago he just doesn’t think that much about bin Laden.

1. shows you how little hannity knows

It would do mr hannity or is it mrs hannity who brought omar bin laden into the arena of
world affairs. I'm sure it was a right wing idiot from a usa intel organization.
In fact some of the same people who used him for their benefit works or did work for this administration.
Really this is far from a democrat to make such stupid decisions, castro, noriaga, ben laden
some of these dinosaurs are connected to all of the above!
How soon we forget to use our puters for research.

2. And Hannity sounds like an apologist for repressed homosexuals
and half ass-ed wanna-be world emperors.

3. It's very strange...
it seems like the perfect Rovian tactic to demonize the left would be to put their talking points in Bin laden's mouth...

The reality is though that some of what Bin Laden says is common knowledge throughout the world, it isn't really ground-breaking stuff.

4. do you think he's being protected?

escaped the troops twice under strange circumstances.ever see these films with the weirdos threatening with ak47's,you know the ones that are hooded. isn't it strange we can get pictures of them in large numbers but we can't use a satchel bomb to take them out.
I'VE ALWAYS FOUND THIS STRANGE. SINCE WE SEND SPECIAL FORCES INTO STRIKE DOWN PEOPLE THAT WE WANT ELIMINATED.

5. At the very least
the hunt for Bin Laden was (and is) deliberately under-resourced.

And it doesn't really matter if he is a double-agent or genuine in his beliefs - he is smart enough to know that he is more useful to the neocons alive and free.

I also think he would be in more danger (from the neocons) if he came out and said
"hey fellas, why don't we don't we just forget about this whole jihad/crusade thing? Who needs religion anyway?"

6. I doubt the authenticity of this Bin Laden tape
Why would Bin Laden talk about global warming? Why?
