Petraeus To Give Exclusive Hour-Long Interview To Fox News After Monday's Hearing
September 9, 2007 02:21 PM

Tomorrow night, after spending the day telling Congress that President Bush's Iraq escalation should continue, Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker will take their PR campaign to a more comfortable setting: Fox News.

On Fox News Sunday this morning, host Chris Wallace announced the interview:

WALLACE: Now a special program note. Tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m. eastern on the Fox News Channel, Brit will have an exclusive interview with General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker about the state of the Iraq war and their testimony to Congress. Please be sure to watch.

1. Wow! Well, he'll certainly face tough questions on that network.
Glad the "fair and balanced" network got him and not one of them "librul" ones. Now we can learn all about the really important issues, like who Petraeus thinks will win the next Big Brother and why Christianity is the bestest religion of all.

2. Yeah.. . THAT ought to help with the "credibility" factor.
I thought the whole point of having Patraeus do the talking was because no one on either side of the aisle believes chucklenuts. .

3. Reason enough to doubt his credibility and objectivity.
He is obviously just a Bush administration mouthpiece. Why can't they understand that his close affiliation with Bush discredits every word he says. I am not in Iraq, and I do not know firsthand and for a fact what is going on there. I would like to know the truth or maybe different points of view. This one voice, one view, one _____ business just makes me more skeptical than ever. Bush lied to me before. Colin Powell lied to me before. Petraeus lied to me before. I have no reason to believe they are telling the truth this time.

4. If the old U.S.S.R. had Fox in 1988 then it would still be going
