His relevance is only that his Day of the Zombies crowd will eat flesh on his command. He has nothing to say anymore, except to boast about his golfing with other rich friends (acquaintances, likely - I can't imagine that he really has any friends in a deep and spiritual sense. Pathetic figure in many ways).
