1. Pat is a guy I'd love to have a beer with... |
|
He is very knowledgeable about the history of government. I'd never VOTE for the guy, but there are times he gets it right. Then again, a stopped clock is right twice a day!!!

6. I agree with you. I think he has a brilliant mind. I don't agree |
|
with him and like you say wouldn't vote for him - but he can be funny and he's informed. Another like that is Dick Morris. And maybe even something Gingrich.
Thanks for letting me say that. I just hate it when you say things like this and you immediately get flamed - instead of talking about ideas. If people hate the messenger - an idea exchange is way out of the question.

Whenever Pat Buchanan makes sense, it just reminds me how screwed up the US really is!

i basically despise him for being basically, to his core, sexist and racist.
but it is fun to watch him and McLaughlin get into it sometimes. Jesuit Vs Jesuit Smackdown!
also, like a broken clock, he is sometimes "correct". but he's really weird sometimes on McLaughlin Group -- for a few weeks he'll be all against the war and talking smack about Georgie Butch... then one week it's like he got his chain yanked and was force fed a gallon of the Kool-Aid.

7. You got that right, sometimes when |
|
I hear him I don't think he even believes his own bs. I think a lot of times when he seems to be force fed the Kool-Aid he is just acting as the Devil's advocate.
