Margolis receives huge email response re his anti war column blaming Bush
for taking America wrongly into the Iraq war...This is a heart-warming article from Eric Margolis, an American who lives in Toronto and writes for the Toronto Sun. I first posted one of his anti-war articles about a year ago...Many of you have seen these articles by him which others have posted also....He is an expert on the mid-east and though he is a conservative and a Republican, is fearless in his expression of disgust for the current government in Washington.
<snip>
"I've received a huge e-mail response from around the globe in reply to my last Sunday Sun column. In it, I contended that George Bush's fabricated war against Iraq was a far worse crime than Watergate, and said the president and his men were either liars or unbelievably inept.""
<snip>
"Most messages, about seven in every 10 by my estimate, came from Americans."

Between the two of us, I think we have posted just about everything Margolis has written about the war.

BTW, I guess Margolis does not watch "The Daily Show" since he missed the fact that John Stewart uses Mess-Opotamia as his logo when he "reports" on Iraq.

<snip>

More and more Americans believe they were lied to, misled and/or defrauded by the Bush administration over Iraq - which one witty reader calls "Mess-Opotamia."

2. He is getting a huge response from Americans....they are hungry for
the truth to be told and it's a shame they don't have someone in their own country who is doing it as fearlessly as Eric!...:)

3. Well, with the possible exception of Paul Krugman,
I think you are correct.

4. I like this part
<snip>

During the Iraq war, the Internet became a sort of "Radio Free America" that gave the lie to all the White House's war propaganda promoted by the mainstream media.

<snip>

I think he is talking about us (along with many others of course).
