Virginia's Anatomically Incorrect Flag

Parents, please remove your children from the room. We must regrettably visit the topic of Janet Jackson's right breast -- and the federal lawsuit it spawned last week in Tennessee, where a 47-year-old woman is suing Jackson, Justin Timberlake (who unleashed the breast), MTV, CBS and Viacom on behalf of "all Americans who watched the outrageous conduct which occurred during the Super Bowl halftime show." The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified sum for herself "and millions of others who saw the acts and were caused to suffer outrage, anger, embarrassment and serious injury."
Aghast, we studied the flag. And there, with one breast exposed, stands the Roman goddess Virtus, dressed as an Amazon, denoting power and military skill.
Just three years ago, Hill's younger brother, Nick, had to draw the flag. "It was the happiest day of his life," Hill says. "But two boys in my brother's class were too shy to draw it. A lot of them just drew blobs. You've got to wonder: Do moms know that there is an exposed breast hanging in every school, at least in the history classrooms in Virginia?"
Even more shocking: Some of the pupils' depictions were turned into refrigerator magnets, further undermining morality in the Old Dominion.
