I am laying the blame for a great deal of global anti-Semitism at the feet of the people who have caused it...Israel, and the people in the media who slap a label of anti-Semite on anyone who reports or criticizes Israel.

However the establishment media has made it part of their mission to blur the lines between "Israel" and "the Jews" so as to stifle any criticism of Israel. In recent history, anti-Semitism is a no-no and ostensibly is not tolerated anywhere in the western world.. So all the media have to do is bind Israel to "the Jews" and suddenly any negative discussion about Israel is a no-no, no matter how truthful and accurate.

There are right wing Zionists who are flunkies to Americas Neo-Cons. Plus you got your religious Christian American fundamentalists who think they have usufructuary claims to Israel. Progressive Jews are opposed to the treatment of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. So...when you say Israel, be more specific, do you mean the Israeli right or the Israeli left? There is a distinction between Anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitism. The American Jewish political right wants that distinction deleted. Believe me, if you criticize Israeli right wingers, that does make you a Anti-Semitic, it's makes you smart.

Global anti-Semitism is the fault of Israel and not the bigots?! No, the real truth is anti-Semites gussy up their hate for Jews in so-called criticism of Israel. While there are certainly those who incorrectly apply the anti-Semitism label to critical remarks about Israel, there are more than an handful who running around claiming they can't criticize Israel because they will be called anti-Semites, all the while slamming Israel. Another fact is there are some who really aren't anti-Semitic, but they are bigots nonetheless. They are bigoted against Israel. Finally, many, too many, willing overlook anti-Semitic bullshit or even play it up.
