John McCain Promises Another Five Years of War in Iraq
Posted Mar 19th 2008 11:41PM by Cenk Uygur

On the fifth anniversary of the Iraq War, John McCain is promising another five years of war. He is adamant that if we elect him president, he will not leave Iraq. He will stay there a hundred, a thousand or a million years if necessary, according to his own words. Let's hope he doesn't stay in office that long.

But think about that. If he is elected, that means we will have this last year of the Bush administration, plus four more years of the McCain administration where we will definitely stay in Iraq. Do you really want another five years of this Iraq War?

If you're not sure, just check out the results of what the last five years has brought: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdwWovRFKV4&eurl

2. Well, it is obvious why he says 5 years...

He can't figure out how to get out of there, either. He'll never go another term, so that will allow him to sit in the Oval Office and, if anyone complains about still being in Iraq, he can say "I told you...!"
