Stop outsourcing
Originally published April 7, 2008

What I have seen in the last few years amazes me, upsets me, to think what is happening to our children and grandchildren, their jobs and how they are going to make anything substantial to survive in this world.

"Temporary job services" is a bad situation. Oh yes, they'll get you a job and see that with the company you will not have a job over a certain amount of months so they will not have to pay insurance or benefits. There is no way of saving money today on a minimum wage with gas as well as groceries being so high priced.

My aunt just lost her husband and she won't get any more of his Social Security because the health-care system took away everything for his nursing care that he worked for all of his life. You might as well take all your possessions that you have worked for and put it out on your lawn for an estate sale. I hope we will get a new start for our country and get our jobs back here instead of going to India, Mexico, Canada and China.

Fellow Americans, this is happening before our eyes. Are we also going to allow a company to come here with uranium mining to completely destroy everything? We have so many issues going on right here in our United States, and yet we still allow money to go to different countries. How about all the homeless people right here in Colorado? Why doesn't the government step in there?

2. This is outrages. Social Security is gone, because someone
was sick. I met a person last week from Europe. He was a cancer survivor. He is apparled about the stories he hears here in America. People going bankrupt tring to deal with an illness. His whole treatment for his cancer treatment cost 300.00 dollars. Groceries are outrages. So is gas, and homeless people.

3. This will become even a larger issue now since so many are being laid off!!!
Those of us who have seen this eating away at the middle class and been screaming about it for years will now get a lot of support since so many of us will be in the same boat!!!!

I think this will be a major issue in the crime that will be done because of no income. To be an an undocumented immigrant now in this country who is going to be competing with everyday regular citizens for $8.00 an hour jobs is going to get sticky in the near future! We are going to see more people needing help.

I thought it was rough in the 70's and 80's when I raised 5 kids with a totally disabled husband but now it is going to be tragic for families with small children and the elderly! With more and more people being laid off this country is going to see itself going into some 3rd world issues like more homelessness and hunger.

The wildcat truckers are parking their rigs and we see what it is doing to the airline industry. If anyone can't see the writing on the wall they are not looking at reality!

We are going to have to start to demand USA made goods!!!! If we sound like protectionists so be it! My son is overseas right now protecting us and when he comes home I want him to have a job to come home too!!!

Here is a link for info on USA made goods:
