I would think that there is a lot to be concerned about when the privatization of intelligence gathering of this criminal administration is extended into space and used to look down upon The United States of America, particularly when the history of the individuals and organizations involved in satellites are rigorously examined from a political ideology perspective.

The history of what became Titan's L-3 Communications includes a relationship with Fairchild. This Fairchild component goes back to connections with Germany's Dornier in 1936 when the Nazis were rising to become the Third Reich.

Former USAF General Simon Peter Worden is Director at NASA's Ames Research Center (which is the "civilian" authority over many satellites-plus Simon Peter Worden doubtless still has extremely high security classifications and ties to the military satellite network)

Prior to leaving the military and joining NASA, Simon Peter Worden was the director of the "closed" Office of Strategic Influence. Worden is associated with RW religious groups through his friendship with Republican Senator Sam Brownback.

4. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence/ODNI-a Bush Family Evil Empire private creation

I've read and researched a whole lot more than the links in this thread-I have an advantage over most citizens inasmuchas I know where to look for answers about the real criminal conspiracy that we call the Bush Family Evil Empire/BFEE. I know my BFEE, and I learn more about it everyday.

The history of the US intelligence community began with its "birth announcement" The National Security Act of 1947-and its purpose was to thwart the threat to US interests posed by communism and particularly the former Soviet Union. Well, we are long past that era-now those "US interests" are being revealed for what they really are as the privatization of everything continues.

A world empire controlled by the full spectrum dominance of a sole military superpower-you may have read about that decades ago in books of fiction, you may recall that The United States of America was opposed to such undemocratic concepts and fought against them.

Well, since private entities have more rights that American citizens, the rule of law, and our Constitution (which is US) has been dismissed as nothing more than "a Goddamn piece of paper" by this criminal administration the real growth of the US interests (a form of fascism) continues and its first order of business is self-preservation against terrorists, terrorist supporters, potential terrorists, homegrown radicals and possible dissidents, the bitter, etc...so here are a few more links to consider about how precious life for the BFEE is and the need to protect itself above all else from the potentially bitter terrorist supporters that need to be monitored for the good of the BFEE's HOMELAND (tm).

You need intelligence to do that, and new organizations filled with experienced militarized business leaders that know how to protect and defend those BFEE US interests from any and all threats.

That is why the Office of the Director of National Intelligence/ODNI was created by the BFEE-and why its first Director was former Iraq Ambassador John D. Negroponte assisted by former National Security Agency Director Director and USAF General, now CIA Director Michael Hayden-he sure knows about satellite reconnaissance.

After the opening of ODNI and Negroponte's departure another well seasoned person was required-and who could be more dedicated to preserving those BFEE US interests than a man that had helped design programs that "protect the global financial network" while making millions of US dollars at private intelligence entity Booz Allen than Admiral John M. "Mike" McConnell?

Mike has planned for the opening of another entity the National Applications Office/NAO which will be able to utilize not only the experience and resources of Booz Allen-but many other private intelligence assets like Boeing, BAE Systems, Inc., ManTech International, Harris Corporation, SAIC, L-3 Communications and other BFEE vital interests protectors.

5. There was an opportunity for serious reform that came about 30 years ago

as a direct result of the Nixon administration's crimes involving WH use of the intelligence and law enforcement communities for political purposes. The hue and cry for reforms soon died down.

Post-Watergate hearings and investigations were held by both the Senate and the House, the Senate's Final Report is available and is commonly known as the Church Committee-named after Senator Frank Church (D-Idaho).

But the House investigations were more far-reaching and controversial, in fact the House Final Report is not available to this day, to the best of my knowledge. I researched it because of the magnitude of the unaccountable criminals of this administration and a complicit Congress.

Those House investigations of illegal activities within the intelligence and law enforcement communities began with a power struggle for Chairmanship, New York Democrat Rep. Otis Pike took over 5 months after the start of the investigations. I couldn't find a Final Report but I did start a thread about the post-Watergate, post-Hoover House investigations.

This is a good thread to repost the thread about that forgotten House investigation, the lack of accountability and comparison to the privatization of the Bush Family Evil Empire's intelligence.

I do agree that privatization is out of control. The purpose of government is to administer our shared resources and security. Once they stop doing that, voila, we don't need no stinkin' government any more! That's exactly what free market enthusiasts want. Followed by paying their people in scrip or macaroni and cheese, between lashings.

This is an all out war against corporate plutocracy and legislative stupidity, all because some fat republican thinks he shouldn't have to pay any taxes at all and just pay his private security detail to guard his gated community and lash the peasants for not peasanting fast enough.
