Our First Black President?
Will Americans vote for a black president? If the notorious historian William Estabrook Chancellor was right, we already did. In the early 1920s, Chancellor helped assemble a controversial biographical portrait accusing President Warren Harding of covering up his family’s “colored” past. According to the family tree Chancellor created, Harding was actually the great-grandson of a black woman. Under the one-drop rule of American race relations, Chancellor claimed, the country had inadvertently elected its “first Negro president.”

1. Eh, OK. By that argument a lot more of us are "black" than conventional wisdom allows.
How about "America's first President that wasn't passing"?

3. Biracial Not Black
He isn't Black he is Biracial.

He is a Biracial Child raised by his Mother & Grandparents.

This country has to start waking up because most kids in the next 40 years are going to be Biracial/Black-White - Biracial/Latino-White - Biracial/Asian-White

:)

4. Oh heck, we could even just stop worrying about surface characteristics altogether.
Just one great big sort of tannish (on average) clot of humanity.

5. Oh My God!!! We're ALL black!!!
It's been said that all of humanity's lines can be traced back to Africa. So we're all black. Big whoop!! Let me know when we elect our first non-human president. Oh wait, that happened in 2000!!! We've had a chimpanzee in office since then. My bad!!
